What's important on the ship
The stationary VHF station is selected according to the navigation area and the requirements of the register. For GMDSS, a Class A Digital Selective Call (DSC) is required – the NVR-3000 has one, the station corresponds to IMO MSC.1/Circ.1460.
Separately look at power supply: the marine network gives drawdowns, and stations with a wide range of input voltage behave more stable.
