Request a quoteThe request “needs two-way hands-free” can mean different purchases. The operator wants to pass the ad to the deck, hear a person in the horn area, or communicate with a separate internal post. First, the desired conversation is determined, then the periphery of the VLH-3000.
Horn could be part of the feedback
The VLH-3000 manual describes Hail/Listen-Back: Once released, the horn button is used to listen back, and the operator hears the incoming sound through the block speaker or the provided external speaker. This is a different scenario than a constant conversation between two people through separate negotiating places.
For purchase, it is useful to name the point from where the answer should come. Is the person in the area of the outer horn or in a separate room? If only “feedback” is recorded in the task, you can get a serviceable kit that solves the wrong organizational problem. On a noisy deck, the result is discussed in relation to the actual situation, without the promise of legible speech under any conditions.
Internal post - a separate role
Intercom in the corporate management is allocated separately; additional negotiating devices are provided for it MLS-300i connection IC1/IC2. Purchasing another outdoor horn does not in itself mean that there will be a separate indoor meeting place.
For example, an announcement to the mooring group and an appeal to an employee in a closed office space should be recorded with two requirements. In the first case, the outer zone is determined, in the second - a specific point of conversation and the method of calling. If both functions are needed, they should be reflected in the agreed composition, rather than hiding behind the general line of “SMSU”.
What does a set with a speaker and a mountain
In our current VLH-3000 card, the speaker and horn are indicated. This is not a reason to consider two horns, two negotiating posts, or any number of external speakers included. The quotation fixes the name and quantity of each supplied part, and the price is considered for the complete set.
The existing periphery can be described separately as being preserved. Before ordering, it is useful to determine whether you need a complete replacement of the node or the addition of one function. But the label “dynamic” alone does not explain its role in the system: outdoor advertising, operator listening, and internal conversation require meaningful choices.
Agree on the result that can be shown
It is more convenient for the buyer to formulate a short scenario: the operator addresses the selected area, then hears the answer; or calls an employee at a separate post. So you can compare the two quotations for the solved problem. The simplified sequence below helps to discuss roles, but does not specify electrical connections.
If the VLH-3000 is used to replace the old block, specify which functions were used before and which were lacking. This will not allow you to buy an extra node and not lose the desired way of communication. Installation, cable lines and additional posts are included in the delivery only after separate approval; the requirements of the particular vessel are taken into account in the design.
