The choice between DM-R23 and DM-R2-24 begins with inputs.
If the task is connected only with the existing DC line, the list of candidates may be DM-R2-24. If different power supply networks are needed, this scenario should be explicitly described and the product should be considered. Selection is conducted according to the documentation of the entire installation: inputs, load and required functions must coincide with the task.
Therefore, two descriptions are useful in the letter: work from the main network and work in its absence. Specify which consumers continue to operate, which are disabled and which events should be displayed to the responsible operator.

The presence of a second power supply input does not confirm that the battery is being charged by this device. Charge functions, condition control and duration of operation are agreed for the entire system separately.
When maintaining an existing node, attach its diagram and markings. New products, stored equipment and works are conveniently divided in the statements. Then the final price will refer to the understandable volume of delivery.
What to fix before acceptance
Agree on models, configurations, accessories, necessary documents, and verification procedures for each required mode. For repurchase, save this specification along with the data from the work post. It’s more useful than “buying a powerful block” when you need to restore the same configuration a year later.
